Full course description
All Canyons School District employees—including substitutes—are required to complete the district's Critical Policies training each school year. To get started, click the blue “Enroll” button on this page. This will direct you to the self-enrollment page for the 2025–2026 Critical Policies Course in Canvas.
Important Note:
Substitutes in Canyons School District do not automatically have Canvas accounts created as part of their employment. To access the course, you will need to create a Canvas account:
- Click the blue "Enroll" button
- On the login page, scroll down to the "Don't Have an Account? Sign Up Here!" section.
- Complete all required fields (marked with an asterisk*)
- You may use a personal email to sign up.
However, if you have a Canyons District email address, we recommend using it.
Once enrolled, you will have immediate access to the course. Please complete the training as soon as possible to stay in compliance with district requirements.
